anyway, on this day, October 16, 1968, two Black American athletes, Tommy Smith and John Carlos, raised a glove fist in the

air as they stood on the Olympic podium as the National Anthem Plate.

I would imagine many of you have this image in your head of Smith and

Carlos on that podium at the moment head down arm raised so let's talk a

little bit about how we got to that moment what came next the legacy of Smith

and Carlos and obviously sports and
