And what we're going to do with this show this week is take a walk down memory lane about the many many ways in which we have connected with you over the past eight years.

And as you know, if you are a regular listener to our show, we talk about an animal of the week and a crystal of the week.

And we're going to start with the crystal of the week. If that's okay with you Samantha.

Yes. So I decided to choose Jasper for this week show because Jasper is how I started down this whole journey when I walked into my office at work and found a red Jasper on my desk.

And that's what reintroduced me to this whole world of intuition and crystal. So I thought it was apt to start the show with a discussion of Jasper.

I'm reading from a different book that I'm going to read from crystal ball by civil Ferguson.

If you guys haven't heard of this book and you like crystals, I recommend trying to check it out. I say trying because I used to get this book from my library all the time because it was out of print.

I eventually found a copy, a youth copy on Amazon. So I'm so happy to have the book. It was originally written in 1979. It was updated in 2005.

But it just it gives a nice description of crystals and how to use them in your life for intuition.

So I'm going to read what she says about Jasper. She calls it the building block of heaven. According to the Bible, the top of the holy walls of New Jersey, or heaven, contain almost 5,000 bricks encrusted with hand polished red Jasper stones.

Jasper is mentioned throughout the Bible as a protective stone in the breast plates of the priest of Aaron. Evidently, the ancients considered it to be an extremely powerful stone.

Even God is referred to metaphorically as a red Jasper stone in revelations, which states, and he who sat there like a Jasper and a sardius stone in appearance.

And there is a rainbow around the throne in appearance like an emerald. The ancients favorite Jasper for curing snake bites with pulling evil spirits and bringing rain.

This opaque kind of Chalcedani is a common stone here on earth. In fact, it is found on every continent. It occurs in shades of brown, yellow, blue, green and red, as well as combinations of these colors.

It has been ground up into powder and added to healing and blixers for thousands of years. The stone offers encouraging effects, but they tend to happen gradually over a long period of time. Patients is required with Jasper.

It's an energy stone and also a stone of sensuality and protection. Brown Jasper helps connect you to the earth and to past lives.

And she says, if you are interested in exploring past lives, wear brown Jasper rings or bracelets on your left arm and pay attention to your dreams.
