What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius

and last night, the Lakers got their eighth straight win, 12 in a row against teams over 500

in a thrilling comeback overtime victory over the New York Knicks, only marred by a late-game

injury to Jalen Brunson, who was absolutely brilliant. Best wishes to him. Hope the injury

isn't too bad. But Lakers pull it out on the strength of their stars and their defense. They

hold the Knicks to a 15-point fourth quarter, pull it out in OT. An instant classic regular

season game. It had such

great energy from both teams. It was the first time in a minute that the Lakers brought energy

and the other team threw such a punch that they had the Lakers on their heels and controlled

a lot of that game. I thought the NICS played very well. One bit of context with them, of course,

is they've been great against everybody except the top four teams or so in the NBA and haven't

gotten a win. They're like 0 of 8, I think 0 of 9 now after last night. And it had really been

bothering them. It's something they had been talking about. Knicks played great. They played

hard. It was just a well-played game on both ends of the

floor, at least a very competitive one that showed some of the Lakers' weaknesses, how they can be
