re-tero. For today's episode, our topic is The Eight of Swords. Grab your tarot decks. Let's begin.

So the Eight of Swords is an interesting card to me. It shows this lone woman tied up and blindfolded and it's always left me wondering how did she get there

Who put her in this position? Why are all these swords around her? You know there's a really interesting story in that

card when you just look at those symbols. So before we get into an

interpretation let's talk about those symbols and let's start by talking about the binding.

So again the woman is bound with ropes which can indicate an inability to move or it can also indicate oppression. But look closely, she is

restrained but her feet are free to move.

And the swords around her?

That's a sign that she has resources nearby

to cut herself loose.

You'll also notice that there are no other figures in this card. Now that can indicate isolation or

being removed from a situation or it can also indicate that whatever's going on, maybe perhaps it's something that this person

got themselves into.

And what about the blindfold?

Well, the blindfold indicates an inability to see

or a signal to look within.

It can also indicate confusion.

So right away, you know, you can see some interpretations developing here.

It indicates that you're stuck, but perhaps you got yourself into this position.
