EgoTrip Collective who started out creating the critically acclaimed and much beloved

Hip Hop Magazine EgoTrip in the mid to late 1990s. Then later transitioned into the world of

coffee table books with EgoTrip's big book of rap lists and a big book of racism. And today I have

been the past two years producing specials and series for VH1. Gentlemen, welcome to the program.

In addition to their EgoTrip credits, Gabe Alvarez has also been credit as a creative consultant

on the television program, the Boondocks, which I don't know what that means. Is that one of those

words that means writer only they don't get paid a union wage and don't get to be in the union?

Yeah, I mean, Aaron McGruder, shout out to him, a great man, gave us a chance for me in

Sasha from EgoTrip to work on the first season of the Boondocks. Just basically, you get to
