Tom Clarke is joined by former football league professional Gregor Robertson to discuss all the latest for the EFL.
The Championship is thriving this season. Very competitive, tons of goals and arguably the top eight are all surprise packages. Stoke and Coventry can’t stop scoring and Preston and Charlton are confounding the pundits by threatening the play offs.
Southampton had a much-needed win after sacking Will Still, Norwich need a win, but can under pressure Liam manning deliver it?
In League One Luke Williams swaps the Airport for the Posh and Reading look for an Oasis in their season by swapping Noel for Leam.

| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the game football podcast from The Times. This is our EFL extra show. Every two weeks you've got me, Tom Clark and the former Football League defender Gregor Robertson looking at the highs and lows of the championship League 1 and League 2. Gregor, we've left it late in the week, but that's partly because of a load of midweek action in the championship. So let's get stuck straight in. I don't want to dwell too much firstly on that midweek action because I don't want to miss the chance to talk about three hat tricks last weekend across the division, one for Wrexham, one for Stoke, one for Derby. Tell us a little bit more and then we'll get stuck into a bit of analysis of all three from, I'd say, three very different strikers. Yes, Kiefer Moores was the first one Friday night. Huge win for Wrexham against Coventry City League Weathers and it was your classic right right foot left foot |

| 1:08.1 | it was like the kind of really up and at them and direct and very, very difficult to play against. |
| 1:14.9 | Big one for Keeper Moore as well. |
| 1:16.6 | Great header. |
| 1:17.7 | First goal was again a poacher's instinct. |
| 1:20.4 | And I also got the left footer as well. |
| 1:23.4 | Great finish. |
| 1:24.5 | Owing to the corner. |
| 1:26.0 | Divine Obama was the next. |
| 1:28.8 | He got a hatchick against Bristol City. |
| 1:31.4 | First was a real poacher's finish. |
| 1:33.1 | The second was an absolute howler by the goalkeeper. |
| 1:36.1 | And the third was a great finish as well, |
| 1:38.8 | kind of moving the ball away from the defender |
| 1:40.7 | after ferocious pressing by Stoke. |
| 1:43.6 | Stoker and a rich being a form at the moment |
| 1:46.3 | and that was big from Obama as well |
| 1:48.4 | he gone a few games without a goal |
| 1:49.6 | and he's got five and actually if you look at Stokes |
