Scott Lover of the Boston Herald tweeted that Dave Dombraski had a list of 30 names for general manager.

So we discussed last week that the brewers had 40-something names.

Red sucks only had 30 names.

Not quite if they didn't have a head hunting firm helping them out.

Yeah. So it was last 14 and where you fund the gyms.

And ended up going with the internal candidate.

Unless you consider Frank Renn to be the product of this, I guess.

Yeah. Well, it's getting murky, right? It's getting hard to say what positions are what we typically think of as the positions.

Because Dave Dombraski is the president, but it was also tweeted that my case and the new general manager said the role of general manager will be a little bit different with Dave.

Dave is going to be making the decisions in the end.

So I don't know whether GM is evolving into glorified assistant GM.

And president is just a more impressive sounding higher paying GM job now.
