Looks like it's going to happen again

Jorge Salaire came from behind to take the title from Mike Trout in 2019

which prevented Trout from crossing off another column on the Black Ink Pingo card

And now Sal Perez of the Royals is just one whole run behind Shoei Otani for the Major League and American League lead

So don't want to root against Sal because who doesn't love Sal

But he has closed the gap as have some other guys

Shoei has not been hitting like his old self lately

No, he has not and Sal Perez found a new life

Much of it at the expense of the Mariners

Seemingly was hitting a home run every at bat

He had a against the Mariners in a series they had not too long ago
