You guys didn't mention that the Mike Minor thing created a minimum inning

Yeah, I did briefly mention that at the end of the episode

I didn't really want to acknowledge it but I did

Yeah, it also, uh, Minor had a little bit relieved of this

Minor ended up with 126 pitches in that game

And not counting no hitters the most in a game this year was 127

And I tend to look at the most pitches thrown in a start from time to time over the years

It's a useful yardstick for measuring where the limits are of managers leashes as you know the era changes

And I'm relieved that it's not a sort of a completely anomalous start that is gonna be

At the top of the pitch count leaderboard this year if it had gotten to 128

It would have been really disruptive for me some some years down the road

So those are the two the two things about that start that mattered to me
