So before we get to anything else we have to follow up on the fart from yesterday

So we talked about at the end of the episode someone sent us

What seemed to be visual evidence of Adam Lind farting during a plate appearance from last September

That's got a lot of responses and people had various interpretations

And I don't know what to make of this anymore

So the main response, the best response was from the great Meg Rally

who wrote an article about this for baseball perspectives that began with the sentence

Let's just assume that Adam Lind farted

So she did a lot of research, she found first of all something we hadn't picked up on

which is that Adam Lind wears very tight pants and has always worn tight pants

And perhaps that played some role in this

You could imagine that these pants would be constricting that he would need some relief
