In Episode 37 Im joined by career Special Forces solider Joe Kent. Kent and I served briefly together in 2nd Ranger Battalion before he went on to attend SFAS and become a Green Beret. Kent deployed all over the world and served in various capacities ranging from training, mentoring and direct action. Kent and his wife Shannon were both part of the Special Operations Community and she was tragically killed during an operation in Syria. With Kent suddenly becoming a single father to his 1 and 3 year old sons he decided he needed to put the military lifestyle and chase a new endeavor. Kent has decided the best way he can continue to serve his nation is by running for Congress and bringing real life experience, integrity and honor back into American Politics. I loved sitting down and catching up with Kent and plan on supporting him however I can during his new journey into politics. Please enjoy Episode 037 of the Endless Endeavor Podcast.

0:00.0 | Hey, what's up guys? Welcome to episode 37 of the Endless Endeavor podcast with me, Greg Anderson. |
0:05.7 | Before we start the ad read, I just wanted to reiterate that the two most important things you can do for this show is support our sponsorships by listening to the ads, going to their websites, using our coupon code, and showing our sponsors that our audience is reaching a large number of people |
0:22.8 | and generating interest in their products. And then also going on and rating our show on whatever |
0:28.9 | podcast form you're using. You know, like Andy Stump always says, if you want to go give me a one star, |
0:34.2 | go give me a one star. But I would say, only rate the show if you enjoy it. |
0:39.1 | If you don't, just bypass that all together. But no, what that does is it lets everybody |
0:45.1 | know from our sponsorships to our production company that we're doing the right thing and |
0:49.6 | gives us feedback on what we could do better and what you enjoy about the show. So support the |
0:55.5 | sponsorships, give us a rating, and I would greatly appreciate if you were willing to do those two |
1:00.6 | things. So with that said, today's episode is once again brought to you by Allegiance Holster |
1:06.8 | Company. The sponsorship came at a perfect time because I've committed myself to concealed carry |
1:11.8 | at all times when I'm outside of the house. If a holster is cumbersome, bulky, uncomfortable, |
1:17.4 | it becomes easy to find yourself neglecting your firearm. And as someone that's responsible |
1:22.1 | for protecting my family, I feel like that's unacceptable. For me, a holster has to meet |
1:26.8 | three requirements. And I've talked about this before. It me, a holster has to meet three requirements. |
1:28.0 | And I've talked about this before. It has to be comfortable in both the standing and seated |
1:32.1 | position. It has to have the appropriate amount of retention, meaning obviously it's a inside the |
1:38.3 | waistband holster. I don't want some type of locking mechanism, but I want it to be snug enough |
1:42.7 | that it's not loose. It's not going to fall |
1:44.9 | out if the holster gets tipped upside down. Just the correct amount of retention feels important to me. |
1:50.2 | And then the last thing is it has to be made of high quality parts and it has to function properly. |
1:55.1 | So like I told you guys before, I told the allegiance holster company that I could not promote |
