Today we have something special as we are going to commemorate and remember and celebrate the art and the published works of one Ed Piscor.

Ed passed away this last week and we are going to strike a slightly somber note today.

But try and keep it as upbeat as possible when discussing his exceptional work, his

Hall of Fame efforts, his incredible decade of success. We're going to talk about Ed.

We're going to talk about what made his work special and how he achieved breakout status

and what Ed meant to me and to so many of you on a special

edition of Rob'servations.

Hey everybody and welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. I am your host, Rob Leifeld. Rob Observations exists to celebrate

comic books and superheroes and sci-fi and fantasy and adventure, all these things that

burst out of comic books and graphic novels that grabbed me when I was a kid and never let

me go. And it propelled me

into a career that has spanned literally I have a foot in five decades my career has has has

been 39 years and counting and I absolutely adore love and in my passion is comic books and here at our observations

what I have tried to do the most is is focus on key moments events in comic book history

especially the events that happen since I've been alive and since I've been watching

comic books

grow and expand and then, you know, taking you on the journey with me as I became a comic

book illustrator, writer, creator, publisher. The one thing that I enjoy more than anything

is shining a spotlight on comic book creators and the creators

who have moved us and created significant bodies of work that have inspired and influenced us.
