Now, before we make a start on your emails, let's have a recap of what happened this week in Ambridge.

We began the week with Leonard up to his eyebrows in Christmas puddens, and Ruth still ferreting about for info from Leonard, which is categorically none of her beeswax.

In revenge, Leonard told Ruth that he and Jill had an open relationship, which had it not been a joke, would actually have made perfect sense.

I cannot imagine, not that I've tried particularly hard, I hasten to add, that there is much

going on in the duvet department between them, so for Leonard to have his physical urges

satisfied before putting his pinny back on would be entirely reasonable.

But no, it was, of course, an hilarious jest.

This was not revealed until Ruth had gone through the excruciating process of telling Pip,

and Leonard had told her that he was just giving Connie's skirting a going over.

I'd laugh my head off if it was a double bluff to throw Ruth off the scent,

and he's actually been working his way through every woman over 55 in Borsuch here,

and Jill's had a string of gigaloes working their way through the Vagisil.

Amber has decided, unsurprisingly, to postpone the wedding until she can find someone nicer to be married to.

She was bemoaning the situation with her parents till Ed pointed out that he could see their point of view, as he thinks George is an asshole too.

Joy and Tony had a chat, and Tony confessed that it would have been John's 50th on New Year's Eve.

Tony said he liked to imagine the laughs they'd have had with John.

Why would he have had laughs with John when he's miserable as sin with everyone else?
