iPad OS should be tarred with the gatekeeper status, the European Commission has decided,

yep, it's a keeper.

Last September, around the same time the E.C.

gave gatekeeper status to iOS and safari, the body started looking into whether the same could be or should be said for the operating system that runs iPad.

Months later, a piece from Mac Rumors says the Commission has found,

Apple's business user numbers exceeded the quantitative threshold

11-fold, while its end-user numbers were close to the threshold and are predicted to rise in the near future.
