I define marketing as communication that gets customers. So here I am in La Jolla, you know,

living in this great place, but I couldn't get a date. I said, okay, I've got to learn this.

And I realize, oh, it doesn't matter that I have the car, the apartment, because that isn't what it's about.

It has to do with how you see reality.

I wrote a book of dating advice of all things.

I think it is. dating advice of all things.

I think I did 133,000 in sales my first year.

Second year, half a million in sales, a million and a half, 12 million, 20 million. What I had learned about building a business

might even be more valuable than what I had learned about dating.

So I started teaching entrepreneurship.

When you learn about professional sales and marketing,

it changes how you think and how you do things.

The self-made millionaire, really successful people, the thing that they had in common was they were better at opportunity. In the next 10, 20 years

we're going to see more change than we've probably seen in recorded history.

We're all going to need to grow and change and learn and adapt faster and faster as the future unfolds.
