what's happened in the West,

why I think ultimately the theology has degenerated

Vatican II as a kind of summation or climax of all that. And we're going to talk about how all of this, I believe, is ultimately rooted in the divergence

between Eastern and Western theology that goes back.

Well, not just to the first thousand years

with the division between the East and West over the question of the papacy and the Filiocque clause

in the Nicino-Constantinopolitan creed, but even back further to a divergence really between Eastern and Western approaches to God

and how God reveals himself and anthropology who man is and how God relates to the created order, to creation.

Because what we do see in the history of Eastern and Western theology

is a difference, a divergence between those two views.

And one of these views, I believe, having investigated classical Judaism for a good spate these past couple years,

I think makes a little bit more sense than the other one in terms of being a closer sort of connection,

given that it's also eastern if you will. So the first thought I have

revolves around and again those that know me or have heard this know that I spent

several years in Roman Catholicism I spent several years in Roman Catholicism, I spent several years in both

the sort of traditional circles I've met and had interactions and dialogues with a lot of the

members of the SSPX, members of the normative Novice Ordo Church, if you will,
