Welcome to the Loeb Post Podcast one week from the NBA Trade Deadline and we are going

to talk about the Eastern Conference which is in complete chaos.

The Brooklyn Nets presumptive title favorites to begin the season lost their sixth straight

game in Sacramento to a King's team that has been absolutely abysmal over the last month

and really over the last decade and a half. The bucks up and down there in fourth, the

bulls despite taking injury after injury after injury, it all- it looked like they were

going to slip in the standing, slip in the standing for a hot second they did, they

wake up today. They're still first, they heat and they've had their whole team together

for basically never. They're still second, the Nets are only two games up on the play

in tournament. Charlotte Hornets hot and pursued at number seven, the Raptors and the Celtics

are surging at eight and nine are the Nets actually not going to make the top six. This is

crazy. We're going to talk about what all of these teams should do at the Trade Deadline,

how they are navigating this confusion in the East should they be more cautious. So some

of these teams like Cleveland, Chicago, say wait a second, we got a window, we should

go for it harder than we thought we were going to go for it. Or should they take the opposite

tactic of hey, maybe we're good enough as it is because our conference is a total mess.

Why would we squander a Pat Williams or multiple future first?

If we might be good enough now, these are the tough questions to help us answer them.
