0:00.0	What steps did you have to take to actually get put on with the the brokerage to become a freight agent?
0:06.0	Let's start there when you first got started.
0:08.0	The lady connected you with the other broker, not your father's company that he worked with, but somebody else.
0:14.0	So tell me about those steps because you're fresh in the business.
0:17.0	You don't have any book of business. You don't know anybody.
0:20.0	So why would they even give you an opportunity to begin with?
0:22.3	Let's start there.
0:23.3	Well, in the beginning, we lucked up.
0:25.9	We got in, like, at the time when they first started an agent program.
0:28.8	So they were just pretty much bringing in some new people kind of testing the waters.
0:32.2	Off a word of mouth.
0:33.2	Off word of mouth.
0:34.2	So we didn't have, and I think they had a head hunter at the time too. So we didn't have a book, like they just pretty much just took a chance on it. They took
0:40.2	a chance on probably about 13 or 14 different people they came in with age.
0:44.5	Because a lot of times don't they want people with like a book of business?
0:46.8	They want people with a book of business. So I think they had like 12 or 13 of us they took on. But how old, there's only two of us left. Okay.

0:55.1	That they took on at that time.
0:56.1	Everybody else's who's coming in is already established.
0:57.5	Okay.
0:58.5	So it was just me and one other guy.
0:59.5	Now, did they offer you any training or anything like that?
