We've all heard the Ben Franklin quote, early to bed, early to rise, makes a man, come on, healthy, wealthy, and wise.

And there's a recent study by a biologist that has borne that out. Now, full disclosure, I don't ever, I have never considered myself a

morning person. In fact, for three years, I did a morning show, which was from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

in New York City, and I had to get up at 407. Yes, that's when I actually set my alarm for 407 every single morning. And for three years, I never got used to getting up at 407. People would say to me, oh, you'll get used to getting up at 4 o'clock in the morning. No, never. I never got used to it, never liked it.

And if I think on it too hard, it would send me into flashbacks about getting up at 4 o'clock of the morning because my body never adjusted to it because I am really not a morning person. Now, when I get up in the morning, no matter what time I get up, I'm ready for the day. I don't drag out of bed and doesn't take me a whole lot of time. You guys know I don't drink coffee. So I'm like this. As soon as I get up, I'm ready for the day. I don't drag out of bed and then take me a whole lot of time.

He surveyed 367 people to ask them the time of day that they got up when they're the most energetic and, you know, how their day was. And what he found was that, according to him, people who get up early do better, they get better grades, mostly students. They do better in
