Now the shotgun's starting golf is full of mathematics, there's a lot of a lot of setup work that we have to do in order to make a tournament work, so I'm going to demonstrate to you just exactly how we do a shotgun start here.

Greetings and welcome to a Monday edition of the shotgun start. It is April 3rd, Andy. How are we doing?

Brendan, I'm doing wonderful. I'm here in person with you. You know, it's been a while. I got the audio levels dialed in here.

Oh, no TDD problems.

We'll see. We'll see. No cord problem. No Wi-Fi. I don't even need Wi-Fi, right? We could just do this walking down the street without our pure analog week.

This would be the week if you wanted, if we wanted to go pure analog, we could, you know, get typewriters out in Augusta National's press center.

I mean, they've got that old-school notepad, you know, these people like Dan Jenkins and whoever else, that, you know, Grant and Rice, they have the same sort of materials.

Not same, but similar. They have the, you know, the sheet, the graph with the whole by whole pen and paper, the big pad you can take out there that wouldn't fit in any pocket,

wouldn't come close to fitting in any pocket. It's like eight and a half by eleven. Yeah, we could go analog all week. We could just walk and talk without the Wi-Fi.

Figure out how to post it later, but it is fabulous to be back. That would be the issue. We're figuring out how to post it. Yeah, that might be where we need Wi-Fi.

It's good to be back in person. I'm looking forward to a good week. We usually have a little bit of fun and some of these in person major championship weeks.

It all started here. I think 2019 was the first one on the road and we know how that turned out, right? What's the name of the house this week?

We're calling it the Club TFE House. I got to say, because it's supported by Club TFE members. I thought that was the best route to do.

I got to say, I've done the masters handful times. It's the best house we've been in. Certainly the best house I've been in, best house we've been in as a podcast duo.

So it's fabulous. It's kind of like, I don't like, and I know I'm getting old. It's got like 15 foot ceilings. That shit matters to me now.

I don't know why it just feels like I'm in a good old school, stately Augusta home with some big ceilings in sort of classic architecture.

And it's a very nice house. I'm happy with it. It's going to be a good week. I'm going to let everybody in behind the scenes here.

I mean, this was the first year that we were actually out in front of the house.
