Right at 5 o'clock on a trade deadline Thursday, one hour away before the deadline is official. Now, the Yankees have been stuck in a rain delay for a while. They were on the AM side leading Tampa Bay 7 to 4. They had a 7-0 lead. Race came back. It's 7-4 bottom of the fifth inning. And even though the game is official, baseball wants to finish the game. Of course. We've had a very rainy, weird day. The rain is cleared in the Bronx, so a 520 first pitch, a re-first pitch, a rescheduling, if you will, to restart this game in the bottom of the fifth inning is scheduled. The way it'll work is we'll still be here on the FM side. If you want to hear the Yankees, it'll be on the AM side. If you're currently listening to us on the AM side, you're going to get the Yankees at 520. I have a, I hope I'm wrong because I'm not a hater teak.

This game feels like a Yankee loss.

I mean, it felt like that after the fourth inning

when Marcus Stroman, for some reason,

couldn't throw strikes or get out,

and all of a sudden a seven-nothing lead

turned into a seven-four lead.

Luckily, the pain stopped with the rain delay, but, I mean, don't say that. I only... It feels that way, to be honest with you. I'm not saying it as a hater. I'm saying it because this is baseball. You sat there for two hours thinking, oh, if the game's rained out, it's a Yankee victory. It's an official game. And who comes back and is pitching us. And, you know, because I forgot who went into the rain delay pitching for the Yankees.

It was a reliever, wasn't it? No, I think it was just. I think it was. I think it was still Stroman. I mean, I think. And he was probably coming out of the game anyway, obviously, and certainly now will after a long rain delay. but bottom line is they still need to find a way to get 12 outs and the lead is 7-4.

Now luckily when the game resumes, the Yankees have first and third with one out so they've got a chance to score more runs but funnily enough funnily is not even a word we're on stanton and jazz are on what was that stanton and jazz are on base yeah yeah stroman pitched five innings and his pitch count was 74. So the odds were he was probably done anyway, but yeah, they got to find a way to get 12 more outs.
