Who was the offensive line coaches throughout your career?

I bet you could name them right off the top of your head.

Well, Jimmy McNally and Larry Bechtel were the two most impressive line coaches that I had. Most of the other guys that I had were just for a year or two. And they were good, too. Most line coaches are really solid coaches. Yeah, I mean, and it's important. So, like, if someone turns out on this show, it's like, listen, you guys are talking about offensive line coaches?

Like, I was an offensive lineman back in high school. You got to have them. And we had Frank Malia, who was a Zellner Award winner. Yeah, okay. Which was a top offensive lineman in Suffolk County. and then we had Coach Roy Still

as our offensive line coach up at varsity.

Man was a legendary offensive line coach next to coach SIP.

Sort of like an assistant coach head coach as well.

Then you think about some of the great ones that have come through the NFL.

You know, like a Dante Scarnacia.

Remember all that talk about the Patriots are losing Dante Scarnacia? And how could they, he's got to be there. And when he comes back, the offensive line's going to be great. And you hear about Carmen Brissillo here with the Giants now who didn't, wasn't retained. And that was a big problem. And even think about someone like Mike Munchek, who was a great offensive line coach, worked all the way up to the head coach.

So you're asking, like, is it really that important?

Yeah, damn right, it's important.

It is 100% important because you're dealing with not just the offensive line coach.

But you're dealing with the tight ends.

Any foebacks that may be involved, different blocking schemes versus different defensive fronts. And it is an extremely important position. And it's one of the reasons why I told

you, Frank, one of the questions initially he asked me was about the offensive line coach for the Jets. Yeah. And I told him that the offensive line of the Jets was a bright spot. And I thought that they were very well coached. And that Steve Hayden, their coach, I knew who he was. But I didn't know him personally. But I said, I thought that they really did a good job. and he ended up staying here. Yeah. So I even remember during the Evan Teke and Sean interview of the John Harbaugh press conference, Sean goes, you keep an eight coaches? We like Priscilla. We like Priscilla. So they didn't keep him. So if they don't keep Priscilla now, is that because Priscilla's out there saying, don't come to the Giants?

Stay away from the Giants.
