yeah the original plan we would have been done but some things happened and we pushed it back a little bit and maybe he's got something else up

I'm Dave Zengaro. The Eagles agreed terms on a one year deal with Devon White,

the former first round pick, number five overall a few seasons ago, has played in Tampa Bay for a while,

five seasons, 75 starts. What do you make of the move, Rub?

Well, it's, it's not the greatest move.

I, look, we were just talking about, uh, about Devon White in the office with our producer,

our huddle producer, pre-game, post-game producer,

Mike Mallard.

And I don't think anybody was real excited about him,

but presumably he's better than what they have.

He's certainly more experienced than what they have and what they have is just Nicobe Dean and Ben Van Sumer as far as off ball linebackers under contract so you get experience you got a guy who's played a lot of football. He's won a Super Bowl he's made a pro ball back in 21. You know he's he's had some sacks

But it's you know a one year deal.

It's not the kind of guy I think you want to build around.

He just turned 26 a few days ago, maybe two weeks ago.

So he was a young guy.

Maybe he's a guy that just needs to change his scenery.

He had asked for a trade before last year began,

and he apologized for that and played out the season.

He was threatening to sit out camp.
