Avante Maddox back on a one-year deal.

Yeah, and not surprising, I think when they released him about a month ago, we kind of knew it was a possibility, give him a chance to be a free agent for a month and it didn't make sense for him to sign a lesser deal immediately.

Maybe somebody out there is going to give him a better deal and what the Eagles are offering.

But look, with his injury history and I really respect the player and what he does the way he plays the game, but the reality is he's just been unavailable more than he's been available and it's tough if you're a team out there looking for a slot corner to give

guaranteed money to a guy that has played what nine games the last two years so

look I like having him back.

You're certainly at a lower salary.

You don't know the details yet, but I'm guessing it's going to be incentive-laden deal with a very small-based salary and if you can stay healthy and stay on the field, then he gets more money and the Eagles get a very good slot corner. If not, you're back to where we were last year,

kind of, you know, hopefully not where they were last year,

which was trying everybody on the team in the slot and they just never did

find a replacement for him. He's a good player when he's healthy. See if he can stay

healthy. Yeah, I think that's the key right is like they just can't go into a

season relying on him to be the only option there.

They got in trouble when they did that last year, but you're right, like when he's on the field,
