like middle of the third quarter i would have bet anything that wouldn't be the final

yeah we all could have gone home at the lightning delay that's right i think that really it was

really hard for both teams to to come back from that but yeah it was a strange night i mean

the two teams combined to score in their first eight drives and and they didn't score in their last eight drives, had weather delay, had an ejection before the first offensive snap, a serious-looking injury before the first offensive snap. It was, it was, and, you know, we talked about this. You get strange things on opening day, and you are just happy to get out of there with a win.

Yeah.

And that's the thing.

You know, if they play this game in week six, then it's a real cause for concern.

Honestly, the way I look at a game like this is like, obviously, yes, a lot of things I need to clean up.

Maybe some decisions I have to make about personnel we'll get to that in a little bit but you know the name of the game in week one is try to figure out a way to win survive and move on to week two yeah

and they did that and they fought a lot of odds I mean mean, you lose maybe your best player, maybe Zach Bonds,

or best defensive player, but you lose one of your best players.

And you could just see the Cowboys, like, it gave them life.

It gave them, it gave them some energy.

We listened to Dag Prescott talk after the game about the whole thing.

And he said, you know, we, I mean, we based our whole offense on blocking this guy.

And all of a sudden, he's not there.
