We are having a retreat out here our first ever wellness retreat and we linked up with Jeff and Kalisa from the runaway Jamaica

And we thought it would be great to invite them for this month's episode because they're

absolute foodies they are just

so inspiring and amazing and we thought it would be great for them to share their story with you guys and

But just so she shares her insight about making mouthwatering but also healthy meals because that's pretty much what she's been doing this entire time

Do you guys want to start by just telling us what is the runaway?

The runaway is a bed and breakfast located in the north coast of Jamaica and it was the branch how the Kalisa and I

During a bad winter snowstorm

When we decided that you know, we didn't want to spend another winter in the east coast and wanted to move somewhere warm

To pursue our other passions which for Kalisa was cooking for other people and for myself to open up a BNB

So tell us more about kind of like what inspired you I mean you kind of mentioned a little bit but

What inspired you to create this like what are the I know you guys have these five pillars right like sustainability community like tell us more about that and what you guys kind of stand for

Sure, so first of all Jamaica is my favorite place in the entire world

both my parents are from here and

Jeff's parents are Haitian so we're both Caribbean we have Caribbean roots and we love the islands and
