I know, I'm going into my 14th year, and I took a very non-traditional path.

I had been in the college side of things.

I went to private sector, and I'll never forget, when I made that jump, somebody told me, you know, you're committing career suicide,

We've talked about this a little bit before in the podcast.

Then when I left a large private sector institution,

same thing, so many people wrote me off.

Oh, well, and you almost kind of feel like you get lacklisted

because people don't like a lot of coaches

that take non-traditional paths. We like predictability and coaching. We like knowing what other people are up to.

There are so many talented coaches out there
