So I recorded an episode quite some time ago called No One Likes Free Things.

And the premise of this entire episode is think about the times where you might have went to a

trade show or you're at the local shopping center and there's someone giving a sample.

Well, of course, it's our nature, like, oh, let's test it, let's try it.

Let's stop past the trade show booth and grab the stress ball that looks like a globe.

That'd be great.

I definitely need to have one of those

for on the office.

You get back from the trade show,

you might dump everything out on the table,

you see what's there.

The stress ball sounds like a great idea, right? You remember picking it up, you remember all the stuff. It sits around the officer a little while. Maybe you throw it at your coworkers.

Long story short, it ends up in a trash can in the bottom desk drawer

someone swipes it from your desk you don't even think about it. But with that same conversation had you went to the store, felt really stressed, been

offered or presented the opportunity to acquire said stress ball.

Literally exactly the same, same globe, same size, same shape,

but it was a $10 stress ball, marketed you in just such a way that you felt compelled to buy it.

You would hold on to that stress ball.
