Summary

Many people think that the Jewish "feasts", or holy days, are specific only to the Jews. And although it's true that God specifically commanded the Israelites to observe them, they are actually relevant for all of his children... including those of us grafted in by Christ.

In today's episode, I'm going to explain how this feast of the Lord is actually the dress rehearsal for Christ's return.

Hey guys, I'm Chastity, and you're listening to the Ancient Conspiracies podcast, where we connect the

0:06.9

origins of some of the most popular conspiracy theories to biblical history. Well, in today's

0:12.2

episode, we're going to detour from conspiracy and talk about a very important holy day on the

0:16.7

Jewish calendar that's coming up on September the 26th. It's called Rosh Hashanah, or Yom

0:23.3

or the Jewish holy days are only specific to the Jews. And although it's true that God

1:07.5

food is always associated with celebration, right? Well, there's seven major holy days

1:12.6

that God commands his people in Leviticus to observe, and he refers to them as his feasts.

1:19.0

According to Strong's concordance, the word used for feast actually translates into the Hebrew

1:24.4

word Moed, which means appointment.

1:31.6

In Leviticus 23, God speaks to Moses and says,

1:34.2

Speak to the children of Israel and say to them,

1:38.7

The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations,

1:40.7

these are my feasts.

1:47.4

Now the word convocation here translates to the Hebrew word micra, which means dress rehearsal. So let's read it again. The appointments of the Lord, which you shall call

1:52.9

dress rehearsals, these are my appointments. So basically these feasts are literally appointments
