0:04.6	The liberal project according to classical liberalism is you prioritize individual freedom
0:08.9	and that everyone gets to live their life as they want so long as they don't impede on the rights of others and
0:13.5	that means that if you see an example of racial discrimination or racism you
0:17.8	stand up against it and you tackle it and deal with it and that was working
0:22.4	because things were getting better. They weren't perfect. But the
0:25.8	problem is that the critical race theorists, they explicitly said we are an anti-liberal
0:31.4	movement because liberalism doesn't work because racism still exists.
0:35.0	But because the Liberal Project was never saying we've reached this utopian end point where it doesn't exist anymore.
0:40.0	It was like, this is an ongoing thing. It's not going to happen overnight and it was working.
0:46.1	If you compare the way that race relations were working in the 1960s to how they were in the 2010s
0:52.0	before this kicked off, it was definitely going in the right direction.
0:55.4	Huge progress had been made. And then I feel like the woke swooped in and just fucked it.
