You had been abused by your dad. You're being abused in this first foster care. They adopt your sister, but then they say they don't want you. Everybody has something. Guess what? There's somebody that's worse than mine. The only time that tears came to your eyes so far in this conversation we were having is when you're talking about how you didn't love your husband as much as you wish you had. I can't control what happened to me as a child, but I absolutely can't now also allow other people to be victimized to my own victimhood. I think that there's a lot of incentive to have a broken system. You're the president of America and you're like, fix the adoption and foster care system. What would you do? I don't think that it's about pumping a much of money into it. Is foster care worse than not being born?

Today on the Lila Roast Show, I sit down with Amy Main, a mother and advocate and a content

creator who shares about going through multiple rounds of foster care as a child,

experiencing abandonment, abuse, neglect, and ultimately, eventually adoption.

Amy gets raw and honest about how her early
