like a lot of chit-chat to start off podcast so we're going to go straight to it

again with our cut to the chase with our new our uh, cut to the chase, with our new, our guest today, Representative Jim Jordan,

Republican from the fourth district of Ohio, ranking member now on the House Government

Oversight Committee?

That's not Chairman, right?

No, unfortunately not.

So how do you like the minority?

Well, I mean, I have respect for Mr. Cummings.

He's tough, he's tenacious.

I like those qualities in people.

I think you have that as a journalist, frankly.

But when it comes to agreeing with Mr. Cummings,

I don't know there's much we agree on.

So we'll see how it all shakes out over the next couple of years.

In a larger sense, how do you like being in the minority?

Well, no one likes that.

You'd much rather be in charge and you know there's some

some things we were working on that I think now that we're in the minority be a

little more difficult I'm sure we'll get into that here in the course of our
