Did you know that obesity rates have tripled over the last few decades in the United States and that about a half of all Americans are considered obese, nearly 75% are

considered overweight, and one in every six children roughly are considered obese. Where has this obesity

epidemic come from? Why is it happening? Today we're going to be sitting down with researcher,

scientist, geneticist, and author Dr. Anthony Jay. His work is really fascinating. We have had him on

the show before to talk about hormones and so much more related to plummeting testosterone rates.

But today we're going to be focusing on food. He's done some really fascinating research

on food and has a lot to say about the foods that we're consuming. But you get off your grocery

store shelves. We're going to be in part one of this episode talking about the corruption

in the food industry, talking very high level about our government

agencies and how food is regulated in the United States and how that affects the everyday person.

And then in part two, we're going to be going down the grocery aisle together, not literally,

but virtually, and looking at the ingredient list on some of the most popular products,

products that I've used in my home and products that you might use in your home.
