Hey everybody, welcome to the Lila Rose show. It has been several months since I have done this podcast. We finished season one last year and now this is the first episode of season two.

I took a hiatus because I was out for maternity leave. I had my baby

three months ago. It has been amazing. I look forward to sharing more about that. We welcomed

our little son to the World three months ago and also I was

planning to do some new things with the podcast for season two. So as many of you who are listening and following

along for season one, thank you so much for joining for that. I wanted to expand

for season two to include video and to have a studio where I can actually interview guests in person.

As you may notice, I'm not in a studio right now, I'm actually in my living room.

We are part of this global crisis that's taken place in just the last few weeks where we are now my husband and I

my baby have been in this apartment I think it's been maybe 10 days now and I know a

lot of you guys are in the same boat but I wanted to get started with the podcast regardless because I was

planning on doing this late May and there's so much to talk about so thank you for

bearing with me and I'm excited to cover a lot of stuff in the coming weeks. I'm going to try to do this weekly with

everything going on. I'm going to see if I can keep that going, but we'll talk at the

end of this episode about some of the things that you can expect, some of the great

topics we'll be covering and folks we will be looking to interview in the next coming weeks.

But for today I wanted to talk about coronavirus. Of course it's all over the news. It's impacting virtually everybody.

It's a global pandemic.

COVID-19, almost no one had heard of this just a few months ago,

but now everyone has heard of it.

And, you know know India is completely shut down shelter

in place for all 1.4 billion citizens of India China this disease it appears started in Wuhan, China and there were thousands of deaths and tens of thousands affected.
