Summary

In February 1978, five young men in Northern California attend a basketball game together and then make what should have been a routine car ride home. By late that same evening, their families realize that none of them had returned. Despite efforts by searchers over the coming weeks, the only evidence to be discovered was the car that had carried them. 0:35.3	to watch their favorite team, the UC Davis Aggies,

0:42.9	This win was a good omen for them because the following day, the men were playing in a basketball
0:47.6	tournament of their own for the Special Olympics.
0:51.8	But on the drive home from Chico, something happened, and all five men inexplicably vanished.

1:09.0	These are five guys who went an hour in the wrong direction into the mountains.

1:19.6	He's at the bottom of Orville Lake.
1:22.1	I noticed the roads were booby-tracked.
1:25.1	And then we see the guys with guns. We got out there. We got scared.
1:29.7	What were they doing there? To this day, we don't know. They just said, no, they were not going to do
1:34.9	any more searching. And that was the end of it. And we sat back for 40 years and waited.
1:44.1	In the four decades since Gary, Ted, Jackie, Bill, and Jack disappeared.
