weather is like. So we're just going to get right to it. The first

guest of our podcast is Representative Devon Nunez. Now the ranking member of

the House Intelligence Committee. Thank you so much for joining us.

Thank you, Byron, and thanks for having me on your new show.

My new show. Now, you're the ranking member. Up until a week ago, you had subpoena power.

That's right.

No more subpoena power, but still the Republican leader of the committee, just no subpoena power.

So investigations are ongoing.

So we continue to be elected representatives of the people

and we will continue to follow all the leads where they go. What does that mean

in practical terms now that you don't have the majority's power?

Well, the big challenge we have is not having the power to subpoena, right?

So we can invite people to come and talk to us. We can go out and talk to people that we may be witnesses we may be interested in.

We can ask the DOJ or FBI for information, but at the end of the day if you don't have the

subpoena power.

Well, they never gave it to you before.

That's true.

I guess it wouldn't matter.

Wouldn't matter a whole lot. But Chairman Schiff now has the power.

That's right.

So, you know, we'll see they claim they're going to reopen the investigation into Russia collusion.
