all about online course creation, but it gets a bit a little bit more complex and a little bit

deeper than that. So it's 2016 and I'm about to launch my first online course ever. I was a

hairstylist. I was scrappy. I was building a clientele. And I remember being in

the salon thinking, okay, I'm doing clients one to one. I'm going back and forth all the time

from my house with my kids. And I'm like, okay, you know what? I think I have something going here.

I was posting every day on Instagram and showing

people what I was doing. And I remember one of the things that I was actually doing that not a lot of

people were doing at the time and they actually were questioning me about it was I actually was

painting hair or baliaging. It's kind of the art of having to create this sunkiss look in the

hair. Normally you would put, you know, hair and foils and things of that nature. But I was like,

you know what? I'm a whip out of paintbrush, specifically the one from Home Depot, you know,

with like the brown bristles, wooden handle type of situation. And a little bit of context on this.

I was an artist growing up, so I would spend a lot of

my time painting on canvas growing up in my basement listening to Blink 182 and all of the sad music

and I would just like literally rage out on canvases crying over high school drama and just
