Today we're talking about Dyson's electric vehicle efforts,

as well as an update on the United Auto Workers' Strike.

Tesla stock on the day today,

rallying towards the end of the day to barely finish in the green up 0.1 percent,

that compared to the NASDAQ up 0.6 percent.

All right, so in the news today we have an update from Dyson on their electric vehicle efforts.

James Dyson of course the founder of the company sent an email to the entire staff of Dyson,

a copy of which was obtained by The Verge, and in that he said, quote,

the Dyson Automotive team has developed a fantastic car.

They have been ingenious in their approach

while remaining faithful to our philosophies.

However, though we have tried very hard

throughout the development process, we simply can no longer

see a way to make it commercially viable."

So, Dyson moving on from their electric vehicle ambitions, which we first learned of in 2017.

They've had about 600 people working on this project internally,

which makes up about 5% of their global workforce.

So that's a pretty significant percentage of the company when you consider the fact that
