During our over 30-year-long career in intelligence, Ms. Katsu worked at the CIA and the NSA both as an intelligence analyst and in research and technology before working as a senior technology policy analyst at Rand.

That sounds cool, but it's even cooler that she's written a bunch of great novels. Hopefully we will talk about those that draw on her experience.
