We have some big news for today that we are covered here and in some special recordings later. So why don't we go ahead and get to it?

Yes. Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of a peace plan proposed by President Donald Trump, involving a ceasefire, Israeli troop withdrawal, and a hostage prisoner exchange, raising hopes for an end to a two-year war that has devastated Gaza and destabilized the region.

While the agreement marks the closest the two sides have come to halting the conflict, it remains fragile due to unresolved issues, such as the governance of post-war Gaza, the future of Hamas, and the timeline for Israeli withdrawal. Arab nations and global leaders have

emphasized that any lasting peace must lead to Palestinian statehood, while pressure mounts on

Israel over its military campaign, which has killed over 67,000 people in Gaza. I think for me, you know,

I will let the later podcast give you expert opinions on this issue. I am no expert, but I think for

me, my ears key in on the word fragile in this story. It is definitely a fragile peace plan. I have gotten my hopes up

so many times that this would be over that I'm a little hesitant to think that this is actually the

end, because every time it's been close to the end, Israel drops more bombs.

So we'll see.

Hopefully, fingers crossed, this is the end.
