Immigration agency leaders face sharp questioning in Congress following the fatal shootings of two

U.S. citizens by federal immigration

officers in Minneapolis, with lawmakers from both parties criticizing enforcement tactics and

calling for investigations. The hearings highlighted by partisan concerns about roving

patrols, officer training, oversight, and the limited use of body cameras, even as broader

immigration policy debates remained deeply partisan.
