three weeks into a ground operation that has faced global condemnation.

The tanks were seen near the Al-Ada mosque,

a central landmark in Rafa.

The Israeli military continuing its operations in Rafa did not comment on the reported advancements.

Overnight, airstrikes and tank fire intensified with a recent attack on a tent camp killing at least 45 Palestinians

and subsequent strikes killing at least 26 more.
