The collective world of politics appears to have got its knickers in a twist about some thuggish

morons who appear to have spent most of yesterday shouting abuse at various figures of Westminster they didn't agree with.

Their behaviour has elicited lots of head shaking and finger-wagging from the more civilised sides of the Brexit debate,

but surely there's very clear rules of engagement when it comes to political discourse around the palace of Westminster.

If you want to behave like a football hooligan, then prepare to be treated like one by the police.

The Independent Republic will be down there later on this week, no doubt.

So you better stand by your beds,

because we weren't put up with that sort of behaviour one way or another.
