| 0:50.6 | I am so excited to talk to you today about this game, but mostly your experience out in Madrid. Let's go ahead and start with that. You have had a chance this week to kind of get out and see this a little bit. What has been your just general take on the country of Spain, the city of Madrid, and being abroad for a week? Yeah, first observation when getting here, the place is gorgeous. I mean, it's absolutely beautiful. And then when you're walking around, there's like so much historic, you know, buildings. And you just have to take it all in. I mean, the city's beautiful. The people are nice. I saw 150-foot Christmas tree. That thing was amazing, lit up. So it's been good. It's been real good. Are you a big Christmas, like, decoration? Are you a big Christmas guy? Is that what sounds like? I love Christmas. I love Christmas. I can't hide it. So it's been good. Something to do it right over there. So, you know, I know you went and saw the, the automotive museum in Detroit with Tua and Brew. Anything similar to that? You're getting, you're getting involved in this week or just kind of keeping it low key kind of keeping it low key because this one's more business but uh you know from what we we have around like our hotel and stuff i'll see as much as i can um maybe if i have some more time i'll go see some more places with my family but as right now i mean the city's beautiful so that's kind of enough for me. But yeah. All right. So you mentioned |
| 2:01.0 | your family. I know your brother plays for the commanders and you guys have had some time to hang out |
| 2:04.5 | this week. Yes, we have. Yes, we have. The first day when we got here, me and him, as soon as he landed, I was like, okay, yes, sir. So we linked up and then we went on a whole tour. So that was who I've seen the city with, honestly. |
| 2:15.4 | So a little birdie told me that there was |
| 2:17.3 | several Pauls heading into the |
| 2:19.6 | city for the game. Is that true? How many Pauls are we expecting to descend upon the Bernabal on Sunday? The whole Paul family will be there. So my two brothers and then my mom and dad have a whole bunch of cousins coming in from all sorts of places. You've got some coming from Japan, Nigeria, Dallas. So yeah, we have a whole bunch of family coming in. It's going to be good. You've got family spanned across the globe like that. Tell me more about that, please. Yeah. I mean, you know, I'm a first American, so my whole family is originally from Nigeria. But as it goes, you know, people just end up in different spots. So we're all going to congregate here in Spain. Man, that's, that's amazing. What a good little central location there for you. Speaking of playing against your brother here, first time you guys are going to match up, and you're doing it in historic Santiago Bernabaut, you know, at Madrid, the first ever game in Spain. Just tell us about how special that all is. I know you're kind of an |
| 3:07.8 | introspective guy. I'm sure you've had time to reflect upon that. Tell us about how special all of this is for you. Honestly, it's like a once in a lifetime thing. To be able to play my brother in itself is just amazing and it's a blessing, but to be doing it in Spain. And as you said, in such a historic place, you can't write it better up. You can't write something better up than |
| 3:26.3 | that. So it's been great. You guys are kind of touring the La Liga powerhouses right now of the Spanish premier soccer league. And I know you guys have been working out at the Athletico Madrid facilities. Tell us about that place. And how is it different compared to American sports facilities? |
| 3:41.0 | You have one of the best in the world here in Miami Gardens. What are you looking at there at Athletico Madrid? I mean, Athletico Madrid is beautiful. It's different to Miami in a lot of ways, like the sizes of things, but it's amazing. I mean, they did a great job here. I'm currently looking around. It's great. I mean, it's great. The field is a little different compared to like football, but that's about it. |
| 3:59.1 | As far as that, it's great. |
