And on today's show, it's the last film review of the 2025 season.

Tough one to get through. We'll go over that

tape and also get you to the bullet points of the Mike McDaniel end of year presser. From the

Baptist Health Studios inside the Baptist Health Training Complex, this is the drive time podcast.

So we'll get into the tape here in just a second, but Mike McDaniel spoke to local

reporters for about 35 minutes on Monday as the 2025 season comes to a conclusion.

And I thought there was a few things worth noting here.

A lot of repetitive questions about the GM search, which McDaniel mentioned he would be part

of the process for that, although he also did mention there were certain decisions, like a Tua decision that's not

his and his alone to make. So some kind of ambiguity there on some of those answers.

But the ones I thought were most pertinent to kind of put out here for you on the podcast

and discuss are the following. And just a quick reminder, you can check out the

entire YouTube, the entire press conference on the team YouTube channel. But the first one was on

his standing with the organization. He said his understanding is that he's the coach of the

Miami Dolphins until he's told otherwise, mentioned that the team was not happy with the results.

They're not up to their standard. His sole focus each hour that you can reach him in the next foreseeable many hours,

he said, was on correcting and improving something that was not good enough right now.
