We have a bunch of notes today, so let's go ahead and jump right into week 17

versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a 2017 Dolphins victory, starting with the offense, as we always do.

And we began the game with a couple of those little play action rollouts with layers, right?

Very common NFL concept.

You fake the run to the left, you peel the quarterback to the right, you run the tight end or a fullback like on a little flat on a slide route. You're bringing over route from the backside of the formation and you get a vertical for a high, mid, and low target. What I liked after this didn't work at all for the first couple of series, one, because Quinn didn't make the right decision. And two, because they jumped it, was the reaction to the run, to run the over pivot route

to Greg Dulcich, almost called him Greg Olson that I talked about last night on the show.

The half-field safety kept driving on those overs and taking away the receiver crossing the

field.

So we just had the over stop and Quinn just threw it on the back shoulder away from

the danger, a nice end game adjustment there for the Dolphin staff and players alike.

Now, I also feel like we're kind of getting to the territory of like the Skyler and

Huntley and eventually Tua tape from this year where it's like it is what it is. It's every week.

We don't

have to keep talking about it but the screen that gets called back so we dummy the screen the next play
