How many stories are there about the moon being this sort of muse to people or the moon being

something that raises people's hearts or inspires romance? Starting in high school, I had two

practices. One was every night, I'd go out and I'd watch the sunset.

And I started to get my family into it, too.

Hey, let's go watch the sunset.

And in Colorado, I used to live on the hills.

And you can see, you know, kind of like in the plains on the hills.

And then you could see the mountains.

And so the sunset was really prominent.

And the clouds are really colorful.

So one was sunset and the other was every night I'd go out and I'd look at the moon.

I'd gaze at the moon.

And yeah, a lot of things to say there. I felt like at that time, first of all, I felt I would have a lot of deja vues.

And I would have a lot of like synchronistic moments.

And I started to wonder, hey, are those synchronities or those deja vu connected to the moon cycle?

And I think another thing that was happening at that time is, I don't know, I was depressed.

And I felt flat inside.

And so a lot of times I would go outside and I would look at the moon and the stars and the planets.

And I didn't feel anything about myself, but I did feel something just looking at them. And after a while, as I kind of

beheld this outward beauty and this outward warmth, it started to warm my own heart. You know,

sometimes if you can't find the love in yourself, look at something beautiful.
