Summary
Drake and Kendrick Lamar are taking their much publicized decade-long beef to new levels. The rappers are slamming each other with a relentless series of new diss tracks. Things amped up last year when J. Cole mentioned the “big three” in rap music - which he claimed were him, Drake and Kendrick. Kendrick didn’t like being lumped in with J. and Drake, and he fired back in March with a track called “Like That.” Then last month, Drake released “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” - both aimed at Kendrick. But things are escalating. Since last Tuesday, Drake and Kendrick have dropped a total of SIX songs aimed at each other, including one which dropped yesterday. Will this battle die down soon, or is it just getting started?
