0:49.3

Back to back, belly, baby. Man, it felt really good thank you so much this is like the mount rush

0:54.6

or the mount rushmore baseball podcast any analyst dream to be sitting next to you in the digital

0:59.5

space jeff thank you so much it works meant so much to me i mean that but yeah it's really cool to

1:04.4

get validation and recognition other than that absolutely that 250 i'll get you on the bus man

1:08.2

i was right back to work i assure you right after that absolutely doing a little tay oscar hernandez right up there of course it's uh you know hey but again it's not work when you love what you're doing there too it's that's the best part there there is work in our community don't get me wrong but at the same time you know beats having a quote unquote real job sometimes i'll say that uh i don't even know what

1:28.3

i would do if i weren't doing this it's it's pretty amazing so let's uh jump right into it here

1:33.3

um you've got a a great uh draft kit coming out there right now it's 30 plus tiers guiding you

1:39.1

through uh your your your any skill level of drafts lots of write-ups a lot of lot of, you know, stat-dense stuff, a lot of

1:45.4

all sorts of good stuff there. Tell everybody about it. Yeah, just briefly, you know, check me out on Twitter at John McGeza, and that'll streamline and everything, but right now is the pin tweet. Thank you so much, you know. I put it a ton of work into it. It's kind of my piece to resistance, right? You know, going through what was supposed to be a top 500,

1:43.0

becomes a top 600,

1:44.3

becomes a top 655, because if draft champions, deep league play, dynasty, play, and of course, you know, spring training jiffs, I have to start jamming players in to the bottom. But yeah, I do write-ups. I start at the top. Jeff, something that you and I, or you talk about a lot, I talk about out of my own show that there is a high-stakes-centric tinge to content, right? The highest-level content is we're looking for. However, the general public is in 10-team and 12-team, and a lot of times are like top 600, who cares? So my kind of hat tip to them, and i found i've selfishly gotten some quite a bit out

2:35.8

of it is starting from the very top and i wrote up all 100 of the top 100 players now moving on to like

2:41.1

you know subscription requests and stuff but also have uploadable underdog and you saw the data

2:47.4

sheets that i get access to you know i can be a bit over my skis.

2:51.4

I talk fast, think fast.

2:49.7

Those sheets really kind of help me slow myself down. They're very compartmentalized. There's a hint of compulsion in there, right? If you can't tell. Yeah, yeah, but that's kind of what works. So control off as your friend. And yeah, check it on Twitter. It's only 10 bucks for the whole year. You're going to wait a email every week, and you can ride with me.

2:50.2

Yeah.

3:41.8

And the thing is, like like the people play high stakes the people that play in the you know higher expensive leagues or deeper leagues they're they're the ones that consume our content the most so of course that we get we and we get the best feedback from that sometimes yeah but it's not the only way to play and we realize that too. And there are a lot of people have some very important leagues that aren't as deep, too. And you don't want to diminish the importance of the leagues just because they happen to be 10 or 12 teams. And I think that's really important to realize sometimes. I made that comment way back, first pitch Arizona. You know, it was always kind of like a, it was the throwaway line. Well, if you're in a 10 team, Yahu, sure, that's true.

4:02.7

And I used to get that all the time when I answered calls on the serious XM show. I was like, well, hey, a lot of people play in those leagues. Those are real leagues. And, you know, the analysis matters there, too. Starter 5 versus starter 6, starter 15 versus starter 16. That all matters. something in for the high stakes crowd? Yeah. And this is something that I've kind of learned is as a community, the high stakes players can sometimes, Jeff, hand-wave the necessary analysis for the players of top.

4:07.9

We get into this volume thing sometimes where it's, player is the same thing.
