| 3:08.0 | Well, thank you for having me here today, Michael. And yes, it's all over the headlines and it seems to be something new each time. |
| 3:16.0 | But it actually, it's been in our toolbox for many years for type 2 diabetes which is what it was originally studied and approved for because it really lowered patients blood sugars dramatically. |
| 3:29.0 | But in those studies it was also noted that they had a significant weight loss. So then subsequently the drug, semi-glutide, was studied for chest weight loss so people without the diagnosis of diabetes. |
| 3:44.0 | And again proved itself to be a great drug to help people lose weight. And then it got FDA approval for that indication. |
| 3:54.0 | The drug is the same, which is semi-glutide, but for diabetes it's the brand name is ozimpyc and then for weight loss alone it's called vagovii. |
| 4:05.0 | So I think where everyone's just kind of used to the first name ozimpyc, but that's why we hear the term ozimpyc all the time. But it could be either ozimpyc or vagovii, which is the same drug. |
